What’s N-9 spermicides condom?

N-9 Spermicide condom means add spermicide contain the sperm–killing chemical in the lubricant.  Nonoxynol-9 work by setting up a chemical block at the entrance to the uterus, enhancing contraception by trapping the sperm to reduce the amount of active sperms.

Disadvantage

Although condom with spermicide can stop sperm from moving better, intend to add another level of protection against pregnancy, there is no evidence that N-9 condoms have better effective than condoms lubricated with silicone.

Nonoxynol-9 offers no protection against sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea or chlamydia, it can irritate vulvar tissue and vaginal lining, increase the risk of contracting HIV or other STIs. People cannot use it frequently.

Nonoxynol-9 cannot be used rectally.

We don’t recommend condoms with nonoxynol-9 for preventing infection or disease. If you use condoms frequently, we recommend you use the regular condoms without spermicide
