BUILDING THE PERFECT CONDOM WITH HYDROGEL, PLANT-BASED ANTIOXIDANTS
Condom still is the better option for consumer to protect themselves, no others so easy buy and use. In 2014 year, there were about 36.9 million people living with HIV and about 2 million were infected. The virus, which causes AIDS, is commonly spread through sexual activity, and although antiretroviral therapy has turned the once-universally fatal condition into a chronic one, 1.2 million people died as a result of AIDS-related diseases last year.
The United Nations group tasked with combating HIV and AIDS is advocating a “rapid scale-up of essential HIV prevention and treatment approaches.” It is well accepted that condoms are better one way to help prevent transmission, but they are not a perfect solution. Mahua Choudhury, Ph.D., assistant professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, is trying to make condoms both better and something people will actually want to use. The sexual fun from condom will stimulate more consumer choose condoms.
