Women’s sexual health attitudes are changing
During the international women’s day( and every day), sexual health and reproductive rights for women are among the topics of discussion.
Women are taking more initiative when it comes to smarter sex, including purchasing condoms themselves.
LELO HEX condom’s inventor Sweden’s LELO, made a new survey showing that women accounts for almost half of all HEX condom purchases.
However, just 14% of respondents said they felt “completely comfortable” buying condoms in person yet market research indicates that women represent around 40% of all condom sales.
LELO’s online analytics indicate that over 47% of buyers of HEX condoms are women. While 28% of all women it surveyed said they regularly use condoms for birth control, the stigma of women purchasing them is decreasing.
LELO HEX want to end the double standard that consider women who carry condoms sluts. they want carrying and using condoms to be seen as a badge of honour for women.
